On Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. via zoom, The STS CO2 “fracking” proposal for the Southern Tier: a closer look will be presented by Irene Weisner, a retired veterinarian and current green energy activist.
For the past 12 years, Weisner has been the coordinator of Fossil Free Tompkins, working to effect local and state energy policy to get us off of fossil fuels and bring about the affordable, equitable transition to renewable energy.
In addition, Weisner was elected to three terms as a council member in the Town of Caroline, serving from 2012 – 2020.
