The Family Resource Center program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County is offering two virtual series for parents and caregivers. The Magic Years Series will explore development and parenting strategies for the birth to age four groups.
This series will be held via zoom video conferencing on Mondays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. An introductory session will be held on Oct. 26. The remainder of the series will take place Nov. 16 thru Dec. 21.
The PS… It Works series highlights five essential communication skills for parents and caregivers of children ages two to 18. Sessions will be held via zoom video conferencing on Mondays, from 2 to 4 p.m. beginning Nov. 3 and running until Dec. 22.
Both series are designed to be highly interactive and participants will need video and audio capability in order get the most out of the experience. Cornell Cooperative Extension, based on current research, developed these curriculums.
Facilitators are credentialed parenting educators. There is no fee to participate. Parents and caregivers can register by emailing Joan at jes49@cornell.edu.
