Riverow Bookshop to host acclaimed poet Craig Czury

Craig Czury, poet, editor, teacher, and arts advocate, will give a reading of his recent works at Riverow Bookshop in Owego on Friday, April 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. He has authored over 20 books and his poetry has been translated into 11 languages.

Czury, recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, is said to have traversed “multiple continents, dimensions and decades – creat[ing] a magnetic web of words woven from fish scales, seaweed, handlebars and tire treads.” He performs his poetry around the world — in schools, communities, homeless shelters, prisons, and mental hospitals.
