Last Saturday, and under sunny skies, Tioga County Rural Ministry (TCRM) held their annual spring cleanup event, where they welcomed volunteers to assist senior residents. There were 113 volunteers, according to TCRM.

Volunteer groups included the OFA lacrosse teams, Rotary Interact, Ithaca College students, St. Margaret Mary / St. Pat’s Youth Group, the Knights of Columbus, and the drivers and supervisors.

TCRM would like to thank all of the volunteers and those who made lunch, and the First Presbyterian Union Church, who provided the facilities to prepare lunch.

    They came to Dean Street and helps us up here and they were wonderful. Great group of young people and adults as well. Thank you!!!
