The Owego Elks Lodge, located at 223 Front St. in Owego, is hosting an open house event on Friday, April 5 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The community is invited to join members as they open the Lodge to the community. During this evening, guests will be given an opportunity to tour the historic building, enjoying all the features that make it unique.
Guests will have the chance to meet members and find out exactly how the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks impacts the community. The goal is to share in their fellowship and fraternity in a fun and light-hearted atmosphere.
Information will be available on how to become a member of the organization.
In addition to the annual Social Hour, where refreshments and heavy appetizers are available; Smokey Legends BBQ will be visiting, serving up a menu of BBQ favorites with a fish option available. All are invited to attend.
