SUEZ and NAWC offer scholarships to New York high school seniors 

SUEZ and the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) – New York Chapter are offering five $3,000 scholarships to New York high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in a water industry-related field.

The NAWC is a professional organization representing private water service companies throughout the United States. Through its scholarship program, the organization hopes to encourage young people to pursue careers in fields related to the water industry.

This scholarship is being offered to high school seniors living within SUEZ service areas in New York who meet the following criteria: United States citizen; New York resident for at least five years; pursuing a degree at a college or university (two- or four-year) as an undergraduate student (part- or full-time); maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA grading scale; and enrolling in a curriculum related to the water utility industry or related fields, such as natural resource management, environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, computer science, environmental law, etc.

Completed applications must be submitted by March 31.
