Pictured with Kari and Kim are their husbands, Bob and Marshall, and the friendly K’s Kitchen staff, as well as Mer Barrett, Newark Valley Chamber president. Newark Valley Mayor Jim Tornatore and other Chamber members were also present for the ribbon cutting. Provided photo.
Owners Kimberly Balzer and Kari Cornell (the ‘Ks’ of “K’s Kitchen”) cut the ribbon at their grand opening earlier this month.
K’s Kitchen opened July 2, and they are open seven days a week (Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.), offering breakfast and lunch daily and a Sunday brunch. Future plans include being open for dinner two nights a week.
