Celebrate June’s First Friday with the artists of the Black Cat Gallery on June 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. There is plenty of art and music happening this month in Owego! Pick up your First Friday passport and enter the art drawing.

Featured artist for the month of June is Joyce Stewart, a watercolor and porcelain artist. Joyce paints what she loves, her flowers, local scenery and life experiences with her family. Joyce has been painting for more than 30 years and she continues to teach painting and taking lessons, one is always learning.

Music at the Black Cat Gallery for June’s First Friday will be “Triton Trio”, the husband-wife duet of Tom and Marie on guitar and bass, and banjo wizard Robert Siegers.

Tom and Marie play acoustic covers of popular music from the 60’s and 70’s, and Rob’s versatile and original tunes on the 5-string banjo. Together, the Triton Trio puts out a sound that is sure to delight and entertain.

Enjoy a casual evening out, listen to the music, and take in some beautiful art. The Black Cat Gallery is currently looking for new artists.
