Democratic Congressional candidate Max Della Pia, who lives in Owego, N.Y., recently opened an office in Owego. The candidate previously opened two other offices in Ithaca and Jamestown.

During the recent opening event in Owego, Della Pia remarked, “Opening our campaign doors to Owego residents is just one of our many recent successes. I am reminded daily of how lucky I am to have such a supportive community as I look to restore integrity to Congress.”

Della Pia lives in Owego with his wife Nancy of 33 years. He has three adult children and two grandchildren. 

Della Pia, a retired Colonel in the Air Force, received a brevet promotion to Brigadier General for his distinguished service in addition to a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit. 

Apart from a career in the Armed Forces, Della Pia has worked in the private sector as an attorney, and in business development for Lockheed Martin.

He added, during the office opening, “I look forward to the Democratic Primary on June 26. The momentum is contagious and I can’t wait to take that energy all the way to November.”
