The Valley L.E.A.H. Homeschool Players will present Treasure Island, a show based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel, on Friday, May 4, at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 5 at 2 p.m. The show will take place at the North Waverly Chapel on Route 34 in Waverly, N.Y.

Julie Everson and Lillian Briar are directing the play.

Treasure Island is all about finding treasure. But who will get them riches – Jim and his friends or the cutthroat pirates?

The adventure takes the sailors from England to the vast sea and uncharted islands, while both sides fight to gain the treasure. In the end, though, it’s the treasure inside us that really counts.

The performance is free, but donations are appreciated.
