The Trucking Association of New York and Bestpass will host a Touch-a-Truck event to benefit A Room to Heal on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burr Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc., located at 2901 Old Vestal Rd. in Vestal.
The Touch-a-Truck event family fundraiser will give children, their parents and other attendees up-close access to a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles, while also raising funds to create a healing environment in the homes of children affected by serious medical conditions.
The Touch-a-Truck event is free and open the public with attractions that include a variety of commercial tractor trailers and their drivers; emergency vehicles, including police cruisers and ambulances; construction vehicles; and door prizes.
