The recipient of the 2017 Waverly Business Association Business Person of the Year was announced at the Waverly Village Hall on Thursday. Diana Talcott, of My Girlfriend’s Jewelry Box, was awarded the honor by Waverly Business Association President Christopher Curry.
Mayor Patrick Ayers related that Talcott’s business is one of the many unique shops and establishments that make up the business landscape of the village, something he is proud of.
Talcott was brought to tears in thanking her customers, friends and especially husband Dan, for helping her make her dream of owning her own jewelry business come true.
