Children’s Musical on Stage at the Ti-Ahwaga Theater

Big Bad, by Alec Strum and with music by Bill Francoeur, is the story of the Big Bad Wolf’s trial covered by Sydney Grimm, reporter for the Enchanted Forest News. On Saturday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 6, Big Bad, the musical, will be performed at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center in Owego.

Maintaining his innocence, Big Bad defends himself via his Counsel, Evil Stepmother, from the accusations of Little Red Riding Hood, Grandmother Hood, The Three Pigs and the Boy Who Cried Wolf. Fairy Godmother, Counsel for the Plaintiffs presents the case against Big Bad to Judge Wise Old Man and the Jury (audience). 

Witnesses include Bill Woodcutter, Shepherdess and Miss Muffit. Cast Members include

David Black, Evie Medina, Madeleine Wu, Caroline Christy-Boyden, Cameron Cole, Lorelei Cole, Michael Medina, Gordon Wu, Sonny DeWitt, Devin Cornell, Nadia Murphy, Kendra Katchuk and Peggy Medina. 

As an added treat, the children will present illusions taught to them by Magician David Black in a workshop conducted along with rehearsals.

Performances are on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. at the playhouse on 42 Delphine St. in Owego, N.Y.
