An exciting new event is coming to Tioga County, one that shines the spotlight on the extraordinary culture within our region. It is called the Tioga Arts & Agriculture Trail.
The Tioga Arts & Agriculture Trail is a countywide, self-guided tour through the area’s finest art studios and farmland. The trail leads the general public in its discovery of the hidden beauty that is quintessentially Tioga County.
The inaugural Tioga Arts & Agriculture Trail will take place on two Saturdays this fall. Scheduled dates are Sept. 23 and Oct. 7.
The Tioga Arts Council (TAC) and Experience Tioga will officially launch the brand of the Tioga Arts & Agriculture Trail by hosting an open house event on Thursday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the TAC offices located at 179 Front St. in Owego.
The launch will gather elected officials, artists, and local business owners to celebrate this new initiative made possible by the Appalachian Regional Commission.
