Bike Night has good turnout; Still Kickin’ to perform on Wednesday

A good crowd turns out for Bike Night in Owego last Wednesday.

The weather was perfect for Bike Night last Wednesday, with a steady stream of motorcycles arriving for music by 3 Finger Leroy – a three-member band out of Elmira, N.Y.

This Wednesday, Still Kickin’ will perform for Bike Night guests beginning at 6:30 p.m. Still Kickin’ members have played in various bands over the decades, and have officially been together as a five-piece band for seven years. The members met through friends-of-friends and through Craigslist.

Members include Vic Weeks (lead vocal and guitar), Mike Cole (bass, backing vocals and sound), Rod Dayton (guitar and backing vocals), Paul Chappius (percussion), and Kevin Hooey (keyboard and backing vocals).

Still Kickin’ plays a variety of classic rock. They thoroughly enjoy playing music by Journey, REO Speedwagon and others.

They have never graced the Bike Night stage before in Owego, and are looking forward to their first performance on June 28 at 6:30 p.m.

You can follow Bike Night at Owego’s Parkview on Facebook for updates, photos, videos and more.
