Dear Editor,
This is a reminder that an open meeting will be held on Monday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at the Hubbard Auditorium located at 56 Main St. in Owego for anyone interested in learning about, or joining with us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary when NYS women won the right to vote for the first time in history.
Our most significant event will take place at our county courthouse on Aug. 19 with tours, costumes, speakers, displays, music and more. It will be a one-time event that may never be repeated.
Do you have a talent or simply a couple of hours to help us with our plans? Please come; everyone from all over the county is welcome. Thank you.
