On Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, members of the Owego Police Department arrested Shawn Terry, age 42 of Sulpher Springs Rd., Owego, N.Y. and Leah Arnold, age 25 of Liberty St., Owego, N.Y. for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, a Class A-II Felony.
According to the Owego Police, the two are accused of possessing a controlled substance weighing 10 grams or more.
Both subjects were arrested in the Village of Owego following a Grand Jury indictment, which was presented by Tioga County District Attorney Kirk Martin.
Both were arraigned in the Tioga County Court in front of Judge Gerald Keene. Terry was remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond and Arnold’s bail was set at $15,000 or $30,000 bond.
