On Dec. 10, 2016, at about 3:50 p.m., New York State Police at Homer arrested Drew S. Gardner, 19, of Cortland, N.Y. for the misdemeanor of Menacing 2nd degree.
This arrest occurred after troopers responded to a 911 report of a road rage incident that was occurring on State Route 281 in the Town of Cortland.
An investigation determined that during a dispute with another vehicle, Gardner displayed a hunting rifle that was in his vehicle with him, which caused fear to the occupants of the other vehicle.
Gardner was issued a ticket to appear in the Town of Homer on Jan. 17, 2016.
