Nicholas M. Benker, age 20 of Owego, N.Y.
On Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at about 9:30 p.m., members of the Owego Police Department arrested Nicholas M. Benker, 20 years old of Owego, N.Y. on drug charges. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Temple Street in the Village of Owego, N.Y.
Nicholas M. Benker is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree with intent to sell, a Class B Felony, one count Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree with intent to sell, a Class D Felony and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree.
Nicholas M. Benker was arraigned in Village of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 property bond. The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
