Voters in the Owego Apalachin Central School District on Tuesday, May 19, voted to approve the district’s proposed 2026-2027 school budget of $63,567,555. The budget included a 17.10 in the district tax levy.
We published last week that the increase is strictly a technical accounting change. Officials noted that “the increase is actually the $3,183,700 payment from Stagecoach Pipeline moving from one category to another. The Tax Levy increase for residents remains at 0%.”
