Haven of Rest Ministries, formerly located at 62 North Ave. in Owego, has moved to a new location at 167 Main St. in Owego. The ministry moved out of its old location in June of last year because of construction. Funky Junk Market is now at that location.

Haven of Rest Ministry is also host to events like a Women’s Bible Study on Tuesdays, from 1-2:30 p.m. with Kitty Sheehy, and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. with Sharon Davies.
Also hosted is “I Am She Ministries,” a ladies’ group, on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 p.m.; a “Men Free Thru Christ” group for men on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at Harris Diner; and a Bible study on Fridays from 6-7:30 p.m.
Haven of Rest Ministries also serves chili dogs every Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They also hold a Night Worship Service on the first Friday of each month at 6 p.m., and a showing of one Christian-related movie night each month on a Friday at 6 p.m.
