Despite the overcast and cool weather, there was a great turnout for the second “Walk about the Village of Nichols” that took place on Aug. 30. This tour of the historical markers within the village was by popular demand for an evening history lesson.
Some interesting details were shared about previous forefathers of the town and the buildings that they constructed, many dating back to 1823 thru 1901.
