Thanks to Candor Free Library’s participation in providing diverse programs for local children and their families, Didgeridoo Down Under, an Australian themed program with a mix of music, science, story telling and audience participation for all ages, found its way to Candor’s Moyer Park on Aug. 1. Additional Summer Programs at Candor Free Library, besides their weekly Story Hour every Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. at the library, they are offering the following. On Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m., Sarah Misson, LMT, CECP, will present Riding the Wave of Health; on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m., Paint with Sandy will focus on painting a dragonfly scene (registration is required for kids and teens); on Aug. 15 at 6 p.m., The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes String Trio will perform ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’; and on Aug. 23, at 6 p.m., the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes Woodwind Quintet will return to present Hansel and Gretel.
