Stray Haven Pet of the Week for the week of October 27, 2019

Stray Haven Pet of the Week

Hey, People! My name is Tonka! I’m about 5-years-old, and I’m pretty shy. It takes me some time to warm up to new people. Please let me get to know you on my own terms, and then we can be pals!

I used to live outside 24/7, so I’m learning how to get used to this new lifestyle. It’s fun not being outside all the time, it can get really cold at night. I’ve been told that living in a home is the best thing ever; all the dogs are talking about it. I really can’t wait to find my forever home!

I seem to be okay with other dogs, but I don’t think I like small kids or cats. I can take a while to warm up to men, so I do seem to prefer women. Men can just be a little intimidating at first, but I’m learning that they’re not so bad!

Once I warm up to you, I would love to give you some kisses and hangout with you. I’m just a sweet guy looking for a home, is it with you?

If you would like to learn more about me please stop by Stray Haven, and we can get to know each other! See you soon.
