The congregation of Owego’s Lakeview Chapel, located near Visions Federal Credit Union in Owego, recently welcomed Dave Havener as senior pastor to the church. His installation service is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
A Pennsylvania native, Dave is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College and has served Christian and Missionary Alliance churches in Alabama, Pennsylvania, and most recently Wyoming.
Pastor Havener says that integrating his forgiven past into a purposeful memory is the basis for his continued ministry.
He and his wife Brenda have four children and four grandchildren. They are looking forward to settling into ministry at Lakeview Chapel and to making the Owego community their home.
