Planning has begun for the annual Holiday Parade in Candor, planned this year for Saturday, Nov. 30.
The parade will form at 4:30 p.m. at the Candor Ball field on Route 96; please enter by way of McCarty Street. Step off for the parade will be at 5:30 p.m., exiting the ball field on to Route 96, traveling down Main Street, and ending at the Candor High School Parking lot where refreshments will be served.
If everyone has been good this year, they anticipate Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there; and if you haven’t, they are hoping that the Grinch will be there too.
New this year is cash prizes for floats. Get your creative juices flowing and bring your float to the parade. The more the merrier!
