Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week for the week of July 13, 2019

Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week

This little beauty is Lilly, a Himalayan Seal Point. She is a senior citizen and that is the only reason they can come up with that would explain why she is still at Maddie’s Meadows.

Lilly is very gentle and sweet and wants to be near you all the time that she isn’t actually napping. She likes to rest on the back of the easy chair that you are sitting in. Normally she would prefer to be in your lap, but another senior citizen, Sassy, usually grabs that spot first.

Lilly likes to sit in Nancy Brown’s lap when she’s eating though, just in case you have a weak moment and slip her a bite of something she might like. Lilly tolerates other cats but she wants her own space and will give the other kitty a swat and a piece of her mind if they get too close.

Lilly would very much like to have a family of her own so that she could have all the love and attention that she knows she deserves. If you would be interested in finding out more about her or another adoptable cat, please contact Nancy at (607) 768-6575.

If you would like to donate to help take care of the cats, please send your donation to Maddie’s Meadows, P.O. Box 445, Owego, N.Y. 13827. If you would prefer to donate food or supplies, contact Nancy at the aforementioned number.
