Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body to be presented at the First Presbyterian Union Church

“Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body” is an educational program by the Alzheimer’s Association offering tips from the latest research. This free program will be offered on Wednesday, May 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Union Church, located at North Avenue and Temple Street in Owego.

For centuries we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle changes that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join them to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tool to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

Carianne Wilson, M.S., Associate Program Director for Alzheimer’s Association’s Central New York Chapter, will present the program.
