Candor Historical Talk to focus on Iron Kettle Farm

The Candor Historical Society will present guest speakers Skip and Jeanne Jackson on April 24, at the Candor Town Hall at 7 p.m. The Jackson’s will talk about the history of the Iron Kettle Farm from the beginning in 1969 to the present, and what’s next.

Celebrating their 50th year in business, the talk will highlight their ups and downs, their growth, major changes, and partnerships with their children, awards, and everything in between.

The Iron Kettle Farm, also sometimes referred to as the Pumpkin Farm, is one of Candor’s major agro-tourism businesses, and attracts thousands during the peak season. The talk is free and open to the public.
