Members of the Owego VFW Post 1371 and VFW Auxiliary with Owego Hose Teams, Inc. have teamed up to host a spring Monte Carlo Night, Saturday, March 23, from 7 to 11 p.m. The event will take place at the Owego VFW Post 1371 Hall, located at 207 Main St. in Owego. A donation is requested at the door, but $7 is recommended.
Proceeds will be split by the hosting organizations. Monte Carlo Night returned to Owego 12 years ago in the spring and fall of 2007 after a long absence and is a time-honored tradition in Owego. More than 100 plus patrons pack the VFW Hall for the event.
Games will include Black Jack, Big Six Wheel, Beat the Dealer, Money Wheel, Chuck-of-Luck, 50/50, and Easter Ham Raffle. Food, drink and entertainment will also be provided. DJ Tom Donovan, Jr. of Flat Rats Adventures will be spinning your favorite tunes of today and yesteryear.
