Republican Jonathan Marks, of Owego, N.Y., has announced his candidacy for Owego Town Board.
As a lifelong resident of Owego, Marks describes himself as a champion of fiscal transparency in local government.
“I have heard the concerns of voters, and will be an advocate for those voices,” said Marks in a recent press release that announced his candidacy.
Marks, an Owego Free Academy graduate, is now retired from his business in the Town of Owego. He currently serves as President of the Tioga County Fair Board and sits on the Board of Directors for Tioga County Rural Ministry.
Marks will be out collecting signatures for his candidacy over the next few weeks.
