The Tioga County Fair Board announced last week that the Tioga County Fair will host the 2019 Painted Pony Championship Rodeo on Aug. 6, 2019 at Marvin Park in Owego.
This is a professionally sanctioned rodeo event. Contestants from all over the country are expected to compete alongside local competitors. This is the only Professionally Sanctioned Rodeo event in a 10 county area.
Events will include Bull Riding, Saddle Bronco Riding, Team Roping Competition, the Cowgirls barrel racing contest and the Dash For Cash! It all begins at 6 p.m. with the Buckaroo Rodeo for Kids at 6 p.m. The Professional Rodeo Competition starts at 7 p.m.
Admission to the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo is included with your $10 all inclusive daily admission to this year’s fair. This includes unlimited rides, shows, attractions and parking.
