434 Sportsplex to host inaugural Winterfest event for local families to enjoy on January 25

434 Sportsplex has announced that they will be hosting its inaugural Winterfest event as well as a ribbon cutting of their new indoor sports facility and event center. On Friday, Jan. 25 at 11:30 a.m., 434 Sportsplex will welcome the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce as well as local political and community leaders including Senator Fred Akshar, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and others at a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their 53,000 square foot indoor sportsplex and event center.  

The facility, located at 1900 Vestal Parkway West in Vestal, is officially opening and hosting numerous sports leagues, tournaments and now are officially opening the facility to be used for corporate and community events.

“This is a proud moment for our team, we have all worked very hard to get this facility built and we couldn’t have done it without the dedication of all those who helped make this happen,” Chris Riley, president of 434 Sportsplex, said.

As part of the Sportsplex’s commitment to positive and safe events in the community, they will be hosting its inaugural Winterfest event on Friday, Jan. 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Rowdy from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Baxter from the Binghamton Bearcats will join some of their other mascot friends as they celebrate the winter season with fun, and warm, indoor activities for the family. Activities include music from AP Entertainment, a bounce house courtesy of Taylor Rental, glitter tattoos courtesy of Skin Sparkles Glitter Tattoos, games, food, fun and more!

The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door on Jan. 25.
