The Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation, Inc., an Owego based non-profit providing positive community youth development since 1994, has announced its new officers for 2019.
Christian Freyli has been elected president and Michael Motell has been elected treasurer. They join Colleen Dewey-Wright who remains vice-president and Patti Halliday who remains secretary for the new year of the Foundation’s program of scholarships and youth grants.
Robert Clarke Bassett has assumed the position of student scholarship and youth service coordinator and remains the curator of the Bassett Ah-Wa-Ga Center, the Foundation’s headquarters at 34 1/2 Lake St. in Owego.
Continuing Board members include David Woodburn, who oversees the Foundation’s finances, Candy Cerretani, Kathryn Curatolo, Sarah Hammer, Jean Corporal, and youth Board member, Gabe O’Donnell.
