Owego Moose Lodge welcomes Moose International Supreme Governor

The Owego Moose Lodge 1595 welcomed Moose International Supreme Governor Harry Johnston and his wife, Linda, on Dec. 8. The Owego stop was one of many in the United States for the Supreme Governor. 

The Owego Moose Administrator, Larry Vetter, Governor Mike Shotwell, and several Owego Board Officers and members welcomed Harry Johnston. This was the first official visit by a Supreme Governor in several years and Owego was one of the lodges he visited in New York State. 

The visit was an informal meeting and the discussions ranged from how the Owego Moose was doing and what Moose International could do to help the local lodge. 

The Loyal Order Of Moose, through local Moose Lodges, fully funds and supports Mooseheart, a child city, and Moose Haven, a senior Retirement complex.
