The Angel Tree is now up at the Spalding Memorial Library. This is a tradition that was started by Connie Roupp, and is now continued by the Friends of the Spalding Memorial Library and Kids at Risk.
Stop by and get a tag from the tree that will provide a child’s reading level, age, etc. (no names are disclosed). You can purchase a book ranging in price from $1 to $7 at the library or buy one elsewhere and drop it off no later than Dec. 16.
All books donated will be wrapped and distributed by the Friends. Call the library at (570) 888-7117 for more information. The Spalding Memorial Library is located at 724 South Main St. in Athens, Pa.
