Spencer-Candor Lions Club’s Peace Poster Contest, themed “Kindness Matters”, welcomed children to design and craft their own “on site” art reflecting the kindness theme.

Erynn Westervelt was awarded the First Prize for her peace poster at the Spencer-Candor Lions Club reception for Spencer-Van Etten Middle School participants. Runner up was awarded to Spencer-Van Etten Middle School student KC Poole.
Erynn received a $50 gift certificate and her poster was then forwarded to the district level where it received First Place Honors. Erynn received $100 at the district level, and was informed that her poster will be forwarded to the state level.
