On Nov. 21, 2018 at approximately 4:55 p.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Alan C. Wheeler, age 32 of Owego, N.Y. for the Class D felony of Forgery in the second degree.

A victim reported to troopers that Wheeler forged two checks and cashed them at a local bank in October.

An arrest warrant was issued by the town of Owego Court and Wheeler surrendered himself to troopers on Nov. 21. He was arraigned and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 property bond.

His next court date is scheduled for Nov. 27, 2018.
