Animal Adventure Park announces winter hours

With colder weather officially upon us, Animal Adventure Park is shifting its hours for the remainder of the 2018 season.

The park will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only. Please note that the park will also be open on Black Friday, Nov. 23, during those same hours. 

There’s still plenty to see and do at Animal Adventure as the temperatures fall. The giraffe barn will be open through the season’s end. Many species are much more active and accessible in the colder months.

The wolves, reindeer, lynx and yak are among the species that shine the brightest during the winter months. Only a few exhibits will be closed based on temperature and weather, and food service will not be available. 

The last day of the 2018 season will be Saturday, Dec. 23, and the park will reopen in spring 2019.
