The Mystery Dinner Theatre is coming to the Owego United Methodist Church. This year they will be presenting “The Mild, Mild West,” an uproarious Mystery Dinner. This rollicking script and off the wall characterizations provide an outstanding evening of entertainment, combined with food.
Performances will be on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Owego United Methodist Church, located at 261 Main St. in Owego, N.Y.
For a cost of $20 you can have a great meal, watch a fantastic show and test your deductive powers as you compete with your fellow theatergoers to see who can find the killer first.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale now.
Sweet Sue Sobright and Tex Toogood try to prevent the evil villain, Snively Snidely from taking over the Bar-B-Q Dude Ranch. A mysterious Easterner shows up with the solution – namely stolen jewels and cash. You can bet there’ll be some kind of crime committed – probably murder – before all is said and done. An investigation has begun and you will have the opportunity to help solve the mystery! Our detective will be on hand; he will solve the mystery with your help as you purchase clues.
Clues are given to you by the characters for $1.00, each so remember to bring your $1.00 bills! If you’ve been to a mystery dinner before you know how much fun they are. If you haven’t, you don’t want to miss this one.
