Free ice cream on Halloween night for children in costume

Known for their homemade ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, cakes and traditional ice cream shop offerings, Ice Cream Works! is holding their sixth annual free ice cream to costumed children on Halloween from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

In addition to supporting many sports teams, organizations and community endeavors throughout the season with their store and ice cream truck, the owners are continuing to honor family and building history with free ice cream on Halloween.

Ice Cream Works! is located in the former Kies Bottling Works on George Street in Owego. Mr. Kies was known for his generosity and community spirit. Every Halloween, he gave soda to local children from his bottling works, and Ice Cream Works! honors his tradition.
