Gary Truce, Binghamton University Professor and author, will be at Riverow Bookshop in Owego on Friday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. to read from and discuss his book, Shelly and Rhoda, A Most Extraordinary Spirit Encounter.
Based on his true-life experiences, Shelly and Rhoda reveals extraordinary episodes of spirit phenomena that occurred locally over a 15-year period during the 1980’s and the 1990’s. Truce takes readers step by step from his initial disbelief to utter awe at the events that unfolded right before his eyes. A different kind of ghost story, Shelly and Rhoda introduces the ideas of faith, love, and life after death in a way the whole family will appreciate.
