Katie Vaz, regional illustrator, author, and graphic designer, will be at Riverow Bookshop, located at 187 Front St. in Owego, on Friday, Oct. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of her second book, Make Yourself Cozy: A Guide to Practicing Self-Care. Vaz’s first book, an adult coloring book titled Don’t Worry, Eat Cake, will also be available, as well as her greeting cards and enamel pins.
In Cozy, Vaz offers soothing, whimsical illustrations and gentle prompts to encourage us to slow down and find joy in the little things in life.
