The 8th Annual Little Miss and Mister Tioga County Pageant at the fair

Angel Face Pageants will present the eighth annual “Little Miss and Mister Tioga County Pageant” on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. for multiple age groups. Contestants should arrive at 4 p.m. A crown sash and trophy will be awarded to the winner in each age group and to three high point winners. The cost to enter is $25.

Age groups are as follows. For girls, age groups are 0-11 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-15 years, and 16 and up. For boys, the age groups are 0-2 years, 3-5 years, and 6 and up.

Participants are asked to arrive at 4 p.m. for registration; and are also asked to fill out the entry form online to assure your spot in the pageant. It will be first come first serve at door. 

Areas of competition include beauty. This is a mandatory formal event for every contestant. Each contestant will do a simple walk on stage. Contestants nine and up have the option to do an introduction about themselves on stage.

Introductions should include name, age, hometown, hobbies, or anything interesting you would like the judges to know about yourself. You may wear any style dress you’d like. May be short or full length. This is not a Glitz pageant, however, age appropriate makeup is allowed.

There will be one winner in each age division.

Side Awards include prettiest hair, eyes, smile, dress and personality. These five awards will be given in every age division. These are optional events, meaning more chances to win more awards. The cost is $5.00 each.
