On Aug. 4 and 5, the Ti-Ahwaga Community Kids will present Rats, the musical telling of the Pied Piper, at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center located on Delphine Street in Owego.
Rats! The town of Hamelin is overrun with them! Needless to say, the good citizens of Hamelin were very concerned. The rats steal their money, eat their bread and are downright impolite. In fact, the citizens are in a tizzy until the mysterious “Mouthpiece” and his Pied Piper appear, offering to solve their dilemma for a small fee.
Show times are Saturday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, and children age five and under are free.
