Music on Aug. 3 at the Black Cat Gallery will be Trish Engelhard, Dannielle Spindler Swart and Jon Larcheveque, playing acoustic guitar, banjo and violin, with a sound that is sure to delight and entertain. Enjoy an entertaining evening out, listen to the music, take in some beautiful art during Owego’s First Friday event, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in historic downtown Owego.

The featured artist for August is Marion Bauer, painter, creating functional and decorative images on repurposed barn wood and furniture. Marion paints birds, owls and fanciful creatures.

Come and sample the fabulous scents of Stacia and Doug Spearbeck’s soaps, deodorants, body and room sprays. Created in a variety of lovely scents, their soaps are made from organic and all natural products, with the Goat’s milk right from their farm.
