The Tioga Arts Council’s third, fun-filled Miniature Golf Smackdown fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Aug.12 at Tioga Mini Challenger, located next to Metro’s Restaurant on Route 96 in Owego. The event will feature 18 holes, each one sponsored by a local business, as well as great food and drinks, a raffle, hand-painted golf balls, cash prizes and more.
All teams must register in advance at the Tioga Arts Council, located on Front Street in Owego, or by calling (607) 687-0785. The cost to participate is a minimum of two players ($50) to maximum of four players ($100). Teams can choose from two tee times – 3 p.m. (family friendly) or 6 p.m. (adults only).
Other ways you can get involved are by sponsoring a hole on the course, forming a team and sponsoring a hole, purchasing a Golf Ball Drop ticket or a hand-painted golf ball, and spreading the word – ask family, friends, and colleagues to participate too.
