This was the first Fourth of July I’ve experienced back in Candor since high school and it was like stepping back in time. Great would be the last adjective I’ld use to describe the experience. The fireworks were less than impressive and the rides with their offensive attendants are just as depressed as they were 30 years ago. It’s sad to see this is the best the sponsors and citizens of Candor can do.
