The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce was host to a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday for Quality Inn Owego and Bistro 1100; the former Red Roof Inn. The community was invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony at their 1100 State Route 17C location in Owego.
The Quality Inn in Owego, owned by Rudra Management group, is now open; replacing what was formally the Red Roof Inn.
According to the management, “The Quality Inn offers comfortable rooms at a value to our guests.”
Located at 1100 State Route 17C in Owego, N.Y., the hotel is one mile away from the scenic Hickories Park and has views of the Susquehanna River.
The Quality Inn has rooms of all different sizes with fine amenities such as complimentary hot continental breakfast, an indoor heated pool, and free wireless Internet access. They are also pet friendly.

Along with the Quality Inn opening the company also announced the grand opening of their new restaurant, the Bistro 1100. The Bistro 1100 offers visitors a classic twist on popular American cuisine.
Bistro 1100 is open for dinner Monday through Saturday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and will be serving their traditional brunches from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
