Chemung Canal Trust Company (CCTC) is proud to announce the three winners of their fifth annual Strawberry Festival Drawing Contest; Anna (age 6), Lily (age 7) and Kaelyn (age 10). The winners’ artwork will be displayed at CCTC’s 203 Main St. Office in downtown Owego until early August.
The Drawing Contest began in late May and ended Saturday, June 16, with this year’s theme being “Strawberry Jamboree.” There were about 30 contestants.
Owego Branch Manager, Sarah Darling, and the staff at the downtown Owego branch worked together to select the winning artwork from the three different age groups. Each winner received a ribbon and a gift card for Ice Cream.
“The Strawberry Jamboree drawing contest was a fun way to get families excited for the 38th Owego Strawberry Festival,” Darling stated, adding, “Our branches truly enjoyed looking through all the artwork – there is a lot of young talent in our community. We are looking forward to continuing this tradition!”
